Sage Sumantu is a scholar who has studied and preserved ancient wisdom. He believes that Vedic knowledge is not just for the past but useful even today. His journey combines deep study, practical wisdom, and a strong belief in righteous life.
He holds degrees in Mathematics (B.A. Honours, M.Sc.) and an M.B.A., which give him both logical thinking and management skills. But his real passion lies in Sanskrit, philosophy, and the Vedas, which he studied at V.V.R.I., Panjab University. He also works in a quasi-judicial position, making fair and just decisions while staying deeply connected to his spiritual path.
For him, life is one whole, not separate parts like work, home, and personal interests. He believes that Dharma (righteous living) should guide every action, whether in family, career, or society.
The Book: Yajña as Metascience
His most important work is a book on Yajña as Metascience. Many people think Yajña is just a religious fire ritual, but it is much more than that. In this book, he explains how Yajña is a scientific and spiritual process—a way of giving, transforming, and balancing life.
The book has 11 chapters and has been updated over time to make it even better. It explains how the Bhagavad Gita’s teachings on Karma Yoga (selfless action) and Yajña are often misunderstood. He shows how these ideas can be used daily to create balance, happiness, and progress.
He also promotes the correct pronunciation of Vedic mantras, as sound and rhythm are important in preserving their original power. Scholars like Richard Bentley, Gary Brent, and Bennett Archer have supported his work and helped bring it to more people.
