The NEET MDS 2025 counselling process began on June 24, 2025. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the conducting authority for NEET MDS 2025. As of now, four rounds of counselling have been announced, scheduled to take place until August 30, 2025. Based on the number of vacant seats, the number of rounds of NEET MDS counselling 2025 may be extended.

The NEET MDS 2025 Counselling Round 1 registration process is open for candidates from June 24 to June 30, 2025. The choice filling process is being conducted from June 25 to June 30, 2025, and the choice locking window will be opened on June 30, 2025, from 4 PM to 11.55 PM. The NEET MDS 2025 counselling Round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on July 3, 2025, followed by the institute reporting from July 4 to July 8, 2025.

Individual scorecards on AIQ 50 per cent were released on May 24, 2025. The NEET MDS 2025 counselling process for the academic year 2025-26 will be concluded for both the All India and State levels.

The NEET MDS 2025 exam was conducted on April 19, 2025. As many as 30,435 candidates had registered for the exam.

NEET MDS Seat Allotment 2025

MCC will release the seat allotment result on the scheduled dates for each round. The NEET MDS seat allotment result will be declared in PDF format, and candidates have to find their application number to check the seat allotment status. MCC will release a provisional seat allotment list, and candidates may submit grievances within the said date. NEET MDS 2025 Counselling: Seat Matrix

The NEET MDS counselling seat matrix defines the number of seats available in each round of NEET MDS counselling 2025. It also indicates the number of seats that will be allotted to reserved category students in each round. MCC will be releasing the seat matrix for All India Quota, Deemed University, and Central University. MCC will release the NEET MDS 2025 seat matrix in PDF format separately for each round prior to the choice filling process.

The NEET MDS 2025 counselling process will be conducted in online mode, except for the last step, which is institute reporting and document verification. involve the following steps:

• Institute reportingTo participate in the NEET MDS 2025 counselling, a candidate has to register himself/ herself on the portal of MCC

• He/ she had to visit the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in and select MDS Medical Counselling

• Now select New Registration and proceed with the registration process

• To register, a candidate needs to enter the following information: NEET MDS roll number, the application number, date of birth, etc.

• Upon completion of the registration process, the candidate will receive the login credentials for his/ her registered account

Completing the form and filling in the requisite details

• Candidates now have to fill in the details such as fathers name, address, category, etc., in the registration form and complete it

• One must note that the details filled in during this stage of registration cannot be changed later, and thus, a candidate must fill in this information carefully

Registration fee

• After completing the registration form, a candidate needs to pay a non-refundable registration fee

• Without paying the registration fee, they will not be able to submit the registration form

• The registration fee for NEET MDS counselling 2025 has to be paid online (Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking)

• After the payment is processed successfully, a registration slip will be displayed

• The candidate must print this registration slip and keep it safe for future use

Choice filling and locking of preferences

The choice filling and locking processes are described below.

• Candidates have to log in into their registered account on the MCC portal

• They then have to choose from among the choices provided on the left side of the screen

• To add to the list, select the + button provided after every option

• The option selected by the candidate will move from the left side of the screen to the right side of the screen

• The candidate can also change the order of preference by moving the options up or down in the list

• Once they are satisfied with the selection, they must click on Save and continue followed by Save and go home page to exit

• Take a printout of the choices filled and keep it safe for future reference

• This process can be repeated after every round and the choices can be edited for the subsequent round

Documents Required for NEET MDS counselling 2025

A candidate who was allotted a seat through the NEET MDS 2025 counselling had to report to the allocated institute to verify documents. For confirmation of the seat allocated, he/she needed to carry the following documents

• NEET MDS scorecard 2025

• NEET MDS Admit Card 2025

• BDS degree certificate

• BDS mark sheets

• Internship Completion Certificate (stating that the candidate has completed his/ her internship on or before June 30, 2024)

• Registration Certificate from the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC)

• Birth Certificate or Class 10 mark sheet

• Photo ID proof (PAN card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar card/ Passport)

• Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC, if applicable)

• Disability Certificate issued by the medical board (if applicable)
